Hello Doug: Where earth did you find the recipe? I cruised the net for a good two hours and did not come up with it. Recipes for all kinds of sausages except the one I wanted. It souoonds pretty near what Grandma used to make and the idea o;f using the pork butt is very good. We have an abbatoir near where we live snd they can actually get me the pigs head on a weeks order notice but I think I will try the pork butt and see how that is, Would certainly cut out a long step in the process. I will let you know how turns out. Would send you some to try but would likely spoil befor you got it! LOL Anyway thanks again - would you send me a link to the web page you found it on ? Wondering what other goodies might turn up that I have forgotten how to make or lost the recipe to, Danva
