"Montebello Park"
St. Catharines' oldest city park was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, the
same man that designed New York’s Central Park, the grounds of Capitol Hill in
Washington, D.C., and the Boston
Parks System. In 1904, this covered circular bandstand was built, modeled after
the one built for the Pan American Exhibition in Buffalo by Edwin Nicholson
